Supermoon Lunar Eclipse

The last time this (supermoon) coincided with a lunar eclipse, when the moon is covered by the Earth's shadow, was in 1982 and the event will not be repeated until 2033.

Kay Vin told me abt this Supermoon thing when we were having our mooncake festival gathering dinner. Well at first I wanted to ignore de coz I was very sleepy after the Chinese buffet -.- yes pig I know hahaha. Took a nap for abt 45 mins then woke up at 1am to check on the moon. Ntg happen and I had to go back and prepare more (wear more layers, take study material, make hot ginger tea in thermos flask and I'm good to go xD ) I couldn't see moon from my apt so I had to go outside to the front garden of my apt.

Haaaaah this process was pretty slow so I managed to study abit lolol. With the laptop like a boss. Satu orang syok sendiri sitting on a bench picnic kat garden.

SUPERMOON TADAAAAAAAA XD 

Jun Hao told me that it's called 血月 in Chinese. I was outside for abt 1 and a half hour. Getting colder every second hahahaha.

I feel so shuang after this idky, it's my first time seeing and the long wait was TOTALLY WORTH IT! The Supermoon that I saw with my bare eyes was actually way beautiful than in the photo, magnificent is the word :) haaaah <3 

Kk time to sleep if not Monday blue tmr. Nights!  

Dublin

Dublin's good so far, rainy these days but still bearable.

Callum n nana gave me a teary farewell that day. Callum didn't cry but nana's crying hard. Awww. He did hug me tightly tho. Nana wrote me a letter and I read it in plane. Haaah~ siblings. Even though we fought like almost everyday but the bond is there. 

Study hard ya u both 

I guess I looked like a little kid -.- it's like ..... I'm carrying a pink thermomix bag, a polkadot bag, wearing a pink coat and  hugging a hello kitty ..... The security in klia was like : amoi u tinggal hello kitty kat sink boleh tak? Then in the plane the person beside me was like: do u needa fasten seatbelt for ur hello kitty? Andddd when landing the steward asked if I wanna hug it -.- oh my god

We checked in travelodge that night, just beside rcsi. But we only stayed a day jiu move to my apartment le. Better la own space wad. 'Twas abt 10-15 mins walk from rcsi and my parents like that place haha.

I was late to pub crawl so I missed it but manage to meet hungeun and his friends. Winsor's here too! 

Everyone gets a MacBook Air 13" :) needa return it back after 3 years and chg a new device.

Parents only stayed for a few days so we ended up crying during farewell :'p especially me n mom. My class fin early that day so I ran back home to give them surprise just to find it empty. That hurts. Then I ran back to rcsi again. Apparently they took a cab when I went back. Couldn't contain myself anymore so cried on the spot. Mom heard dy very sam tung cried as well lol. Dad teared up too AHAHAH. The lunch was the saddest lunch I've ever had. Well it's only that particular moment that's very sad coz now we're okay dy. Thanks to technology lol I contact them everyday. Not as homesick as I expected coz I quite like here as well.

Look who's here! It's been a month since we met so yeah quite happy. I dragged him to St stephen's Green garden just opposite rcsi but we got lost there. Oops. 

A hearty meal! We were both tired and hungry when we gt back lol

Had freshers festival that night so he went back early. I thought it was near but the whole bus journey was like 30 mins. Why is rcsi sports ground located beside the airport -.- 

That's the dance floor tent but it's too small and stuffy.

This game is called bungee. It's super fun hahaha. Salman paired up with me coz I couldn't find a partner. Basically it's like u wrap a thing arrd ur waist and run as far as u can to stick that stuff (idk what's that called) on the side. The further the better. The spring tension is so strong that it can pull u back like crazy. It's exhausting yet very interesting hahaha hey it rhymes.

Abit too dry so nope not really good 

Tried their pot noodle which is given in the orientation welcome pack. It's gross -.- couldn't fin it or else imma puke.

Went to the Ballad Session mana tau this place is night club Lai de. It's a freshers event la so only for rcsi students.

Had a hectic day today because of all the classes and there's this English assessment thing for all the international students. Drag us till 7pm. So tired /.\ 

Lazy to cook so SHIN RAMYUNNN <3

Oh right! Had History taking tutorials, kinda similar to imu so I paired up with Tina and James. Took turns to become patient, observer and doctor.  Had our first anatomy lecture too and there's like tonnes of things to rmb T.T the anatomy practical was awesome! We have abt 6 ppl per group and each group has a cadaver. One tutor is assigned to two groups so group 1 and 2 combined tgt. We have like 20 cadavers in the room, that smell tho.

Our syllabus today was breast but both our cadavers are male. So we only got to listen to a long lecture then the tutor just leave the cadaver to us and left. The group beside us got female so their breast are all cut up. The guys in our group tried to dissect the old uncle but dunno right or wrong since no instructor. I got to touch it at least, feels dry. Thank you for donating your body.

This is the second week of freshers fortnight so I'm gonna figure it out which event  I'm gonna go next haha. Nights!

九月二号

五年了。。。这么快啊。 

如果说爸爸是全世界最爱我的男人，那阿公你肯定稳稳坐第二名哈哈哈。

还记得我小时候，你整天带着我往kopitiam跑。我最喜欢玩那个木椅了，一直在那个大洞钻来钻去。你和朋友喝喝茶，打打麻将，带我去kedai dua ringgit 买玩具（现在这种店绝种了啦，GST），走走花园。。。

在众多孙子当中，你最疼我。以前总听大人这么说也不以为意，知道你疼我但不知道你真的是有那么偏心哈哈哈。有一次我们回乡时看到你在睡觉，那大到像孕妇的肚子很诱人 :P 我贪爽嘛，就很大力地拍下去，结果你很生气的叫，吓到我因为你从来没对我凶过。 你以为是堂弟们干的好事，一看到是我，脸色360大转变。马上抱住我：“苡璇啊！几十到的？哎哟 pai si 哦,阿公很想念你叻～” 这一幕刚好被姑姑看到，直骂你偏心，那时我才真正了解为什么你们总说阿公最疼我。Paiseh 啦阿公，害你被臭骂 :P 

还有一个印象蛮深刻的，是我小学时候，黎明举办去马六甲的一日游。当你听到我在日香楼吃饭，话不多说马上飞奔过来，手领着三姑新加坡刚买来的苹果。哈哈，你不知道我有多光荣，一直把你介绍给老师朋友们。 哈哈哈哈哈哈，想到这都好笑。又害你回家被阿嬷臭骂一顿，因为她怀疑你吧苹果拿给别的美女哈哈哈哈哈哈哈。这事搞的蛮大的，阿嬷回家一看到苹果不见了就慌张地打电话给孩子们了。一直到我拨电兴奋的告诉爸爸阿公来看我，爸爸先是呆了好一会儿，然后放声大笑，我才知道此事。 当然啦, 叔叔姑姑们也觉得不可思议，冤枉了阿公啊。

啊，这件事我到现在都觉得光荣。阿公病得很重时，很多东西不能吃。医生说什么都可以吃一点，可是为了安全起见，阿公被迫戒掉很多东西。那时我回乡时他都不能动了，卧病在床，连说话都口齿不清。他趁没人的时候用手比划，告诉我他想喝咖啡。我当时是很怕啦，不懂我应不应该泡给他喝。可是都一把年纪了，让一个每天喝咖啡的老人家一点也不能碰咖啡，多残忍啊。 我偷偷泡了一杯，用水草慢慢喂他喝。那久违的笑容，还有他艰难地竖起拇指，比一个我至今都忘不了的 "good" ,这些都让我很开心。阿公不久后就去世了，更让我确定我的选择是对的。至少，我泡了一杯浓浓的咖啡给一个宠溺我多年的公公，毫无遗憾。

回想着过去，眼睛都泛红了啦。哈哈阿公，我还疼得过吧？从没忘记你的忌日。虽然不懂你的生日啦啊哈哈哈哈算不错了 :P 阿公啊，我这个拜五要出国了，要当医生了。这次真的是读医科了，不是我当年的政府考试。:) 开心吧？哈哈不过还要再等几年才能出来做工，到时又会跟你报告的 x)

Accommodation

Garhhhhhhh!!!! Finally!!!! Finally!!!! I'm no longer a homeless person lol 🎉🎉

This accommodation thing gave me much stress seriously zzzz /.\

At first my only aim was on-campus accommodation. They're two types in RCSI. Mercer Court and Millin House. I checked the review on both places and concluded that Mercer Court suits me more. 'Twas 9900 euro for 2 sems (which is abt 9 months). Millin House is 10300 euro. More expensive but I didn't like it. It's more like a hotel concept where there's a big communal kitchen at ground floor. Cannot la later all my bao bei food kena makan who should I find lol. As for Mercer Court, one floor has six housemates. A small kitchen for 6 of us to share and a living room. Although the room is small but I prefer that tho.After my mind's all set for Mercer, I booked it in late June mana tau the person in charge told me that I'm in the waiting list. I was like wtf my cousin just went there and asked u last week and u said there're plenty of rooms and now sudah waiting list -.- zzz  I've no choice but to look at off-campus accommodation as well. 

I was super lost at first since I didn't know who to contact. Then my aunt from Kluang recalled that my cousin's NS friend, Jeffrey Lee, is currently studying in RCSI, so I started to contact him through fb. Unfortunate he was already back in Kluang for holiday. He then introduced me to Wai Kay, the day after I contacted her she too came back to Msia. Thennnn she introduced me her hsemate, Peiying, who's still in Ireland to help me out (super far now lol cousin de fren de fren de fren) coz I needed someone to help me view the place if I wanna rent it. Wai Kay suggested me to find in August coz most owners require immediate stay (it was July that time). I listened to her advice and waited till August.

I was looking for an unshared room with en suite bathroom. But my parents were concerned abt who my housemates would be. We prefer students la ofcoz but most rooms that I found was either 'only for working professionals' or 'male housemates'. 

I told Wai Kay my problem and she introduced me Panchanit, a Thailand girl who's from PMC. She's also looking for a housemate and our requirements for accommodation were similar. We faced the same problems too so we 一拍即合 lol. Unshared room. Unshared bathroom. I've heard of too many roommate problems so yeah, better don't share :P

Instead of finding rooms from daft.ie, we started to search for apartments. 2 bed 2 bath. There were a few that replied us. However, when I called our first option, the agent rejected me when I mentioned that I'm a first year student. My dad called again to enquire mana tau still the same, agent said it's the owner's instruction wor. Sokay nvm, I called our 2nd option, it's the same agent  again. This time, no students, only professionals. TMD if duwan students jiu state there la wtf summore with the very not friendly tone 'have a nice day bye' -.- huuuuuh.. Third option was a 2 storey house, but after peiying viewed it, it wasn't 2 bath as stated, only 1 bath actually. The fourth one paling kek sim, peiying viewed dy and we were ady discussing with the owner. Mana tau chat dao halfway the owner no reply, email again to ask him then he said got ppl paid down payment dy T.T damn sad u know.... 

The accommodation thing really stressed me out for months -.- baru see hope then vanished again. So we started to search again, with a broken heart /.\. There were 3 replies. All abt the same distance which is approx 15 mins walk to RCSI. The first one was okay coz the owner replied fast. Peiying was gonna view it today de. Few days ago he emailed me that a Brazilian lady offer him 2000 euro per month and will pay him 2 months deposit. He asked if we could meet the requirement. Walao eh 吊价 wor, 本来 1850 de leh. The second one after one email jiu no reply Le. 3rd one peiying asked her friend Win Ner ( aka winner) to view for us coz she not free that day. 

The owner said there's another person who wanted this place and will pay the deposit. We told him we'll do the same. After that he told Winner he needed time to think, will let him know by 5pm Ireland time (12 am Malaysia time). Both me n Panchanit stared at our hp until almost 2 am still no news. I cannot tahan since next day (Sunday) needa wake at 6am so I slept first. Winner asked us to sleep too at 2.41am coz still no reply. Felt super disappointed since our sem's gonna start soon yet we couldn't find a place to stay.

Phewwwww. Thank God. This morning when I checked my hp, I missed out many things. I GOT ACCOMMODATION LIAO 😭😭😭T.T 'twas the place that I stayed awake previous night, I guess it paid off :3 Panchanit paid the deposit first and we'll divide it later x)

Such a long journey lol. It was interesting and fun at first but desperate in the end. 

Off-campus is cheaper than hostel fyi. Ours was 1650 per month, belum divide lagi. Bigger and more privacy. Well ofcoz it's further to rcsi lol hostel 2 mins walk nia. Oh well, as long as we found a place now. :)
